Operation Save-A-Life

Operation Save-A-Life Program

Thanks to a grant from the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office, South Bossier Fire District #2 proudly participates in the “Operation Save-A-Life” program. This statewide initiative was developed to help reduce the number of fire-related injuries and fatalities in residential homes.

Through this program, our department is able to provide and install up to two smoke alarms in residents’ homes at no cost. Working smoke alarms are one of the most effective ways to protect your family and provide early warning in the event of a fire. We are committed to making our community safer, one home at a time.

If you would like to take advantage of this program, please contact our office at 318-987-2555 to schedule an installation.
