Volunteers Needed – Join Our Team!

Have you ever thought about serving your community? Looking for something meaningful, exciting, or even a little adrenaline-filled? South Bossier Fire District #2 is always looking for dedicated volunteers—and we’d love for you to come check us out!

Our volunteers play a vital role in helping us respond to major emergencies, including fires, motor vehicle accidents, storms, floods, and hazardous materials incidents. Whether you’re looking to be on the front lines or support behind the scenes, there’s a place for you here.

We train every Tuesday night starting at 6:00 p.m., and training typically lasts 2–3 hours. No experience? No problem. We’ll provide the training you need. Not everyone has to fight fires—some of our volunteers serve as EMS providers, apparatus drivers, or support personnel assisting with equipment and rehab.

If you live in or around our district and are interested in making a difference, we invite you to stop by on a Tuesday night and see what we’re all about!

To join, you’ll need to complete an application and pass a background check.
