At approximately 4:30pm, the South Bossier Fire Department was dispatched to a 1 Vehicle MVC roll over on Highway 527, only a few miles from our Central Station. Station 1 sent Sprint 1, Rescue 1, and Engine 1. Upon arrival, the first due officer on scene identified one vehicle that had rolled over down an embankment. He quickly confirmed that one patient was still trapped inside of the vehicle and extrication would be required. Utilizing an abundance of stabilization equipment, firefighters stabilized the vehicle, entered the vehicle, were able to free the individuals stuck extremities, and safely carry the patient to the ambulance. Bossier Parish EMS Medic 4 transported the individual to the hospital for further evaluation.
