With the unprecedented winter weather that our region has received, the South Bossier Fire Department would like to remind everyone to please stay off of the roads unless absolutely necessary. If you are on the roads, ensure that you have an extra set of warm clothes, water, and if you slide off the road, stay inside your vehicle.

Please prepare for power outages, and if you are utilizing a generator, make sure that it is outside and away from windows. Never heat your home with gas stoves.

Remember that there are many bridges in our district and neighboring areas. These bridges will freeze over first.

Ensure that you stay up-to-date with local weather alerts.
