At 0040, South Bossier Fire Department was dispatched to a woods fire on Highway 157 in the area of the McKee Road and Goat Hill Road. Our staffed station from Station 1 was clearing an EMS call from a few miles up the road and was responding. Highway 527 Rollover with Extrication

At approximately 4:30pm, the South Bossier Fire Department was dispatched to a 1 Vehicle MVC roll over on Highway 527, only a few miles from our Central Station. Station 1 sent Sprint 1, Rescue 1, and Engine 1. Upon arrival, the first due officer on scene identified one vehicle that had rolled over down an embankment. South Bossier Fire, Bossier Parish, and the Louisiana National Guard joined forces for water distribution. Our Stations at 3551 Highway 527 (Central Station) and 2452 Sligo Road (Station 4) have cases of water for our residents. Please limit one case per a family to make it go further. These are self serve sites. The Sligo Road Station is loaded on a trailer and is limited in amount available.
